What is Graboid Video?
Graboid Video is an application software for you to stream or download videos from Usenet sources.
How much is it?
As a free user you have 2,000 MB of free downloads. After the free trial, you have to upgrade to a paid account and pay a monthly fee. At this time you can only choose one subscription plan: the unlimited plan for $19.99 per month.
- Easy to use
- No spyware or ads
- Lots of movies and tv shows
- Fast downloads
- The streaming is hit-and-miss
- Horrible internal player
- Some dodgy videos
- Monthly payments
- No refunds if you are unsatisfied
- Questionable Legal Issues
Graboid claims not to host any videos themselves, but simply links to sites that do. The free trial only allows you 2 GB of downloads before they ask for your payment information. That is roughly three videos, none of which they paid for or hosted, and are not legal to be distributed this way in the first place.
The instant streaming is hit-and-miss, and you must restart entire video if connection is lost. The internal player is awful and lacking in options, but thankfully you are not restricted to using it. Also, There are lots of “cams” in the movies section, sometimes you have to sift through a few to find a good copy. Besides, they do not offer money back guarantee, they will not even answer your texts if you ask for a refund. Buyer beware!
Is Graboid Legal?
Graboid is being deliberately obtuse. The statement that the software is legal may be right, but downloading copyrighted materials is not. It does not matter how legal the software Graboid Video uses is, the content is illegal.
If you’re looking for a good site to download Movies and TV Shows, check out more reliable movie download sites here.
Graboid Video is basically a paid file sharing service, it only searches the Usenet for uploaded videos, most of which is copyrighted and not legal to download. Even if you pay for graboid, you are only paying the software developers and not the film makers. In essence you are paying a monthly premium to engage in illegal practices.
If you are looking for a good site to download movies, I would highly recommend Movies Capital.

Graboid Video is an application software for you to stream or download videos. They offer a free trial wich allows 2,000 MB of downloads. After the free trial, they charge a monthly fee of $19.99. But is graboid legal or is it a scam?
Graboid Video itself, I believe, is legal. It is the downloads that are illegal. Graboid claim that they do not host or post any content, they only search the Usenet for videos which have been uploaded. However, most of the content is copyrighted, which is illegal to download. It is similar to peer-to-peer clients, the application may be legal but most of the content is not.
Graboid charges a monthly membership fee, but the money doesn’t go to artists and media developers , it simply goes to Graboid so they can pay their programmers to publish new versions of the software. They are ripping off the owners and producers of the videos. How is it not a scam if you do not pay the true owners of the product for what you get?
